Masai Mara
The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations, with rolling savannah, scattered acacia trees and abundant resident wildlife throughout the year.
During migration season, the Mara becomes even more dramatic as vast herds move through the greater Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. Combined with superb predator sightings and classic East African scenery, it remains one of the continent’s finest safari regions.
Camp One: andBeyond Bateleur Camp
Set on the edge of the Masai Mara plains, andBeyond Bateleur Camp offers a classic safari atmosphere with elegant tented accommodation, polished service and a strong sense of romance and nostalgia.
The camp is ideally positioned for outstanding wildlife viewing, with expertly guided game drives, bush walks and optional hot-air ballooning adding to the experience.

- Excellent wildlife and predator viewing
- Ideal during the migration period
This is a superb opening to the itinerary, balancing timeless safari style with one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich landscapes.
Serengeti Western Corridor
The Serengeti Western Corridor is one of the most compelling regions of the wider Serengeti ecosystem, shaped by the Grumeti and Mbalageti river systems and known for dramatic migration movement in season.
This part of the Serengeti feels more remote and exclusive, with beautiful riverine scenery, open plains and excellent year-round game viewing.
Camp Two: andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge
Situated in the remote western reaches of the Serengeti, andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge is positioned on a tributary of the Grumeti River and offers a refined, design-led safari stay with a strong sense of exclusivity.
Its spacious suites, river views and elegant main areas create a luxurious base from which to explore this exceptional region, especially during the migration months.
- 3 Nights
- Exclusive Western Corridor location
- Strong seasonal migration viewing
- Luxury suites with private plunge pools
This section of the journey adds a distinctly Tanzanian safari character, with a quieter and more remote feel than many of the busier northern circuit areas.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro is one of Tanzania’s most remarkable natural landmarks — a vast volcanic caldera surrounded by highland scenery and known for its outstanding density of wildlife.
From crater-floor game viewing to panoramic views from the rim, the area offers a different safari experience from the plains of the Mara and Serengeti, with dramatic scenery and a strong sense of place.
Camp Three: Entamanu Ngorongoro
Perched high on the crater rim, Entamanu Ngorongoro offers an atmospheric and characterful stay in one of Tanzania’s most dramatic settings. The camp feels wild, elemental and deeply connected to the surrounding Maasai highlands.
Comfortable tented rooms, warm interiors and sweeping views combine with private game drives, walking opportunities and cultural visits to create a highly memorable crater stay.
- 2 Nights
- Crater rim location
- Highland scenery and cooler climate
- Wildlife viewing, walking and cultural experiences
This portion of the itinerary adds depth and contrast, pairing classic game viewing with one of East Africa’s most striking landscapes.
Mnemba Island
After your safari, the journey slows on Mnemba Island, a private island retreat off Zanzibar’s northeast coast. Surrounded by turquoise water and protected coral reefs, it is one of the most exclusive beach escapes in the Indian Ocean.
This is the perfect ending to an East Africa safari — relaxed, romantic and beautifully secluded, with white sand, warm seas and exceptional marine life.
Camp Four: andBeyond Mnemba Island Lodge
andBeyond Mnemba Island Lodge is the definition of barefoot luxury. With only a small number of beachside bandas tucked into the island’s tropical greenery, the atmosphere is intimate, peaceful and highly personal.
